How do you connect your template message with the flow





If you want to broadcast a flow or send a message through a broadcast, you will need to connect your template message to a flow or create a new flow. Here, we will create a new flow and show how you can connect your created template to the flow.

First, navigate to the Flow section as shown in the image by clicking on Flows.





Next, click on the Add button as shown in the image to start creating a new flow.



Enter the flow name in the input field (e.g., "demo flow for knowledgebase") and click on the Continue button to proceed.


Click on the "Send Message" dialog box as shown in the image to proceed further with your flow.


  • Select "Omnichannel" in the Message Type dropdown (Step 1).
  • Choose "WhatsApp" from the list (Step 2), as shown in the image.

  • Click on the "Add Content" button (as shown in the image).



  • Select "Template Message" as the message type from the menu (Step 1 in the image).
  • Choose your specific template from the list, in this case, "demo_template_for_knowledgebase" (Step 2 in the image).



  • Click anywhere in the blank space to complete the configuration of your message. This step ensures your template is properly linked to the flow, allowing you to proceed to further steps like testing or publishing the flow.





  • Now, you will see your template message. If you've selected "Send Flow" in your template message, you will need to connect it to the next flow as shown in the GIF below. Simply drag and drop from the circular button to trigger another "Send Message" dialog.

    In the GIF below, I am sending a second flow from the "Send Message" dialog using the flows that I had already created.






    To save the flow, click on the "Publish" button.


    Congratulations! Your flow has been saved successfully. You can now go back and start using it as needed.
