How to Use the Poll Manager Tool to Create a Poll on Messenger
The Poll Manager tool allows you to start a poll on Messenger using your chatbot. This feature is useful for conducting surveys, gathering user opinions, and engaging with your business audience.
Steps to Create a Poll Using the Poll Manager Tool
1. Access the Poll Manager
- Navigate to the Tools section in your dashboard.
- Search for the Poll Manager tab among the available options.
- Click on Poll Manager to open the feature.
2. Add a New Poll
- Click on the "Add" button to create a new poll.
3. Fill in the Poll Details
Once you click on "Add," you will be prompted to enter the following details:
- Name – Enter a name for your poll campaign.
- Start and End Date – Specify when the poll campaign will begin and when it will end.
- Image URL (i) – Paste the URL of the main poll image. If you have an image on your device, upload it to the platform and get the link.
4. Add Poll Variables (Candidates/Options)
For each poll variable (option), enter:
- Candidate Name – Add the name of the person, product, idea, or choice based on your poll topic.
- Image URL (ii) – Paste the URL of an image representing the poll variable.
- Description – Provide a brief description of the poll variable.
If you need to add more poll variables, click on "Add More Candidates" to include additional options.
5. Configure Additional Options (Optional)
Click on “More Options” to configure advanced settings:
- Flow After the Vote – Select a chatbot flow that will be sent to the user after they vote (this step is optional).
6. Save and Publish the Poll
- After entering all required details, click the "Save" button to finalize the poll setup.
